You can use the links below to register a stolen bike, or better yet— register a bike before it is stolen. If your bike is stolen, you can increase your chances of recovery by sharing through social media and spreading the word! The more people are on the lookout for your stolen bike, the better, so tell everyone you can about your stolen bike.
Bike Index Registration
Once your bike is listed, its details will be made available to the bike shops, police departments, pawn shops and others that use the BikeIndex.org data to help fight bike theft. This service is free, community driven, and likely your best bet for ever recovering a stolen bike. This registry is not affiliated with law enforcement, it is purely a community effort. You should always report your stolen bike to the local police first, and please note your case number below when reporting to Bike Index.
The City of Eugene no longer registers bikes but has some good tips and information on their Bicycle Safety/Theft Prevention page.
